‘ON DEMAND’ WINE MASTERCLASS AT MILLE VINI
Looking for an out-of-the-box office team building activity or client experience that everyone will be talking about for weeks to come? Or perhaps you’re wanting to treat the wine lover in your life and their friends to a luxe private birthday experience? Neighbourhood wine bar and Italian restaurant Mille Vini, in the heart of Surry Hills, is very excited to now be offering their iconic Italian Wine Masterclass series, that’s usually a ticketed event for the public, in a bespoke ‘On Demand’ format especially designed for corporate bookings and private parties.
Teams and groups will test their taste buds with a selection of Italian wines from a particular region (you can choose, or we will assist with ideas). A skilled guest wine connoisseur will be your personal MC and host for the evening, and will guide you through the region’s history, get you up to speed with the principles of wine tasting, and share interesting trivia and culinary pairing tips.
Your group will sip your way through some superb wines, many that aren’t usually available in bottle shops. The tone of the event is informal, and laid-back, so there’s plenty of chances for conversation and connection throughout, and afterwards.
A spectacular Italian grazing-board style charcuterie spread forms the centrepiece of your group’s tasting, lovingly prepared by our Chef Francesco, who hails from Puglia. Expect rare Italian cheeses and cured meats, hunks of freshly baked bread, honeycomb, and more.
You couldn’t pick a more perfect venue to learn about wine: the exposed limestone walls and wooden ceiling beam rafters – original building features – of Mille Vini will make you feel like you’re in a rustic Italian farmhouse – the venue has a warm historic feel, enhanced by plush velvet curtains and gold-edged oil paintings.
